At Kameleoon, we are committed to continually improving our product to deepen the benefits for our customers. As part of this, on January 28th, 2021, we will be releasing major technical updates to our back-office application to continue reinforcing our position as the best-performing experience optimization platform on the market.

What will mainly change and what are the main benefits?
To ensure a better service, the different components of our back-office will be separated so that if one component is having trouble, it does not affect the other capabilities of the platform. This will ensure all our services and capabilities provided go uninterrupted.

The window is expected to last up to 1 hour beginning at 7am CET time. During this downtime you may experience the following temporary outcomes:
1. Slower loading times of all reporting pages
2. Inability to edit and publish campaigns
3. Inability to preview and simulate campaigns

Resolved - A fix has been deployed to production and the missing data for personalization campaigns have now been fully restored. We will continue to monitor the situation to make sure this incident has been fully resolved.

If you believe some campaigns results data are still missing please do not hesitate to contact our Support team.

Identified - We have identified an issue causing visit and conversion metrics in all running personalization campaigns to be inaccurate since 8am CET yesterday. This issue only impacts results for the exposed sample of the personalization.

The issue has been fixed today at 2pm CET. We are currently working on a fix allowing us to reprocess all data for personalization campaigns since that time to correct results page metrics. In the meantime, we recommend to exclude this period of time from your reports by using our "date range picker" feature (https://help.kameleoon.com/en/display-settings/#a6).

What will mainly change?
Central to the new release is an update of our Engine execution flow. The "Global custom script", which you can find on each site configuration page, will now be executed before all experiments and personalizations get initialized, instead of being executed today when the page has loaded (DOM Content Loaded).

What are the impacts?
None! We will make the transition to the new execution flow as smoothly as possible by automatically updating your existing Global Script code so that it runs on DOM Content Loaded as it is now.
